
Jose Eskenazi is a strategic business development and marketing leader with 25+ years of experience driving revenue, partnerships, and consumer engagement through innovative media, sponsorship, licensing, and digital content strategies. He has a proven ability to build successful teams, forge impactful brand relationships, and elevate organizational visibility.
Most recently Jose was the Associate Athletic Director of Business Development, Brand Licensing and NIL for the University of Southern California Athletic Department.
During his 22 years Jose oversaw USC’s sponsorship endeavors both internally and via MMR partnerships with FOX Sports, PlayFly/USC Sports Properties. He is also responsible for USC Athletics Brand & Licensing business. Jose also oversaw USC’s digital, social and mobile strategy, as well as USC produced radio broadcasts for Football and Men’s Basketball. Additionally, he was the liaison for USC with the PAC-12 Network working on television related business with the conference. Also, Jose oversaw USC Athletics’ in-house video production department, which created unique video content for digital and broadcast distribution supporting all of USC’s 21 varsity sports programs.
Jose spent his years prior to USC (1998-2003) at the Los Angeles Times, as a Project Manager working on the launch of latimes.com and was promoted to Department Manager of Consumer Events in March 2000. His team produced events such as the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books among others…before that he spent nearly 5 years (1994-1998) with Nike, inc., first as the Nike campus representative for USC…later became a project manager for Nike Sports Entertainment where he was involved in producing global sporting events like the Tiger Woods Invitational, The Brazil World Tour, Nike Hoop Heroes, The Nike Cup and the Nike Hoop Summit…Obtained his bachelor’s degree in marketing from USC in 1996, and began his career in sports marketing as a marketing intern in the Athletic Department.
